Sustainable Digitalisation Project.
Brand Strategy and Identity, TOV, Brand Guidelines and Brand Guardianship.
The exciting thing about the sustainable digitalisation space is we are all creating it. Daily.
Simon Carter – an expert in Sustainable Digitalisation came to us having completed a positioning workshop with the team at Polymer studios to create a simple identity for a space that is anything but! Simons' mission is to promote this Sustainable Digitalisation conversation and inspire people to join. His intention is to both inform and listen so that the process is inclusive, ongoing and ahead of the curve. We created a brand that is both for the people and about them – a balancing act that ultimately comes down to creating an environment for change.
Welcome to our sustainable future.
Humankind is crossing a threshold into a digitalised world; our cities, businesses, societies, and our very species. We are laying the foundations of our digitalised future right now. Digitalisation is a double-edged sword, offering terrific benefits, but also presenting serious environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks, which are often not well managed. We are swept up in digitalisation, even addicted to it. We need to step back for a much bigger and longer-term view, to ensure it is a tool for our betterment and not the end in itself. Digitalisation must now becomes responsible, ethical and sustainable: ‘sustainable digitalisation’. We should leverage the benefits, while carefully mitigating the risks. Our identity strikes this visual balance and has been warmly received so far.
